Anatoly Lehatinov

Born in Irkutsk on February 20, 1965. From 1982 to 1986, he studied at the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology as an engineer-economist. To continue his education, Lehatinov was invited to attend a special course at the Military Engineering Institute named after A.F. Mozhaisky, from where he graduated in 1987, with a specialty as an Electronic Engineer. He retrained as a civil servant at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, with a specialty in "Management of foreign economic activity." Lehatinov has repeatedly increased his qualifications, including at the Graduate School of Economics, Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation, and the World Bank Institute.

He began his career in 1987, as an engineer in one of the units of the Military Space Forces of the USSR in Ulan-Ude. Since 1995, he works as the plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Buryatia to the President of the Russian Federation (chief specialist, consultant, and adviser).

In 2002, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Foreign Relations of the Republic of Belarus at PPRB. In 2003, he was appointed First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Foreign Relations - chairman of the Committee of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Buryatia. In 2008, he was appointed deputy head of the Plenipotentiary representation of Buryatia to the Russian Federation President for Economic Development and in August 2009, as Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Buryatia - Head of the Mission of the Republic of Buryatia Plenipotentiary to the President of the Russian Federation. Following a decree by the President of the Republic of Buryatia, on March 1, 2010, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Buryatia - Head of the Mission of the Republic of Buryatia Plenipotentiary to the President of the Russian Federation.

He is empowered on behalf of the President of the Republic of Buryatia, in the present relationship with the federal authorities, to conduct diplomatic, commercial and other missions and missions to foreign countries, meeting with representatives of international organizations, international institutions, organizations and citizens.

Anatoly is married and has two sons.
